I don't know about you but when I am going somewhere new I like to scope out where the local yarn shops (LYS) are. This blog is somewhere for the Map of UK and Irish Yarn Shops to live and also a place to post updates as it develops.
If you notice somewhere missing from the map you can leave me the details in the comments or leave a post in this thread on Ravelry.

You can get a list of wool shops from yell.com you might want to add those that you haven't got yet - some are just craft shops though I think

Correction: Spin-a-yarn shop isn't in Newton Abbot - it's about 7 miles away in Bovey Tracey. The Post Town is Newton Abbot. I'd have corrected it myself, but I didn't know how.
